How does it work?
The Bonded MoCA 2.0 Network Adapter is a high-speed bridge that in conjunction with a router, delivers Ethernet networking access anywhere you have a coaxial port. Simply plug one MoCA adapter into your router and another MoCA adapter to the HDTV, set top box or other device. Most DIY consumers can complete the installation in less than 5 minutes.
The Latest Bonded MoCA Technology for Gigabit Speeds
With support for the latest bonded MoCA 2.0 standard, the ECB6200 bonds MoCA channels to support speeds over 1 Gbps*, more than enough bandwidth for HD video, online gaming, and other demanding applications. You get the reliability and performance of a wired connection without the expense of wiring the home for Gigabit Ethernet. * Actual speeds will vary depending on the condition and noise found on the coaxial wiring

These work very well for what they are. You will not achieve regular Lan speeds however, but good enough to do most things on a computer or media box
I was previously using TP Link powerline adapter to get stronger connection to upstrairs office room which is farthest from the Rogers Internet provider modem/router. I used to get 70Mbps using powerline adapter on iphone and laptop over 5G wifi connection. Since Covid, my requirements have changes as I needed more bandwidth to accommodate constant video calls etc. Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter worked wonders. I am now getting 350 to 600Mbps speed consistently over wifi ; and am very happy. The installation was also painless.
Great quality and instruction. Solved a pixelation problem. Wifi was too weak. I discovered the house was wired with old cable tv connectors. Found this solution online searching. Thrilled that I now get perfect picture!
My situation: whole house is wired with ethernet and coax cable except for the room where the router is, which is coax only. All the Ethernet ports that go to the other rooms are downstairs in the basement, along with all coax wiring and general electrical wiring.
I bought two of these to get ethernet in the entire home. One adapter in the router (where there's only coax) and the other went to the basement. I then used a Cisco switch (5-port, that's all I needed) to pass ethernet to all the rooms in the house.
It works. I couldn't believe it but it works perfectly. Well mostly -- there is a 4ms average latency delay, but given that I'm using a MoCa adapter + an unmanaged switch to pass the signal, it makes sense. Still 4ms isn't as bad as I thought it would be and honestly I'm impressed.
It was expensive, but we'll worth the investment. Can now stream in our room, can now hook up my work computer in the office, and my gaming room can now get ethernet without worrying about wifi disconnects frequently like before.
